I Gave Up on Fad Diets and Used This Method to Lose Weight

Have you ever been in a position whereby no amount of dieting or exercise seems to work? Well I can tell you that I have been in that very position! Quite recently, I gained a large amount of weight when I was under incredible stress. I ate copious amounts of food to relieve the stress that I was experiencing and the results were that I became overweight. And do you know what; I didn’t like my fat tummy at all. I didn’t only take a disliking to my protruding belly, but I hated the fact that I couldn’t get into my favorite trousers. I was desperate to shed some my unwanted pounds and become the fit person that I was beforehand.

I began dieting, just like anyone else would. I attempted almost every diet in the book; from the South Beach diet, the Atkins diet, calorie counting, NutriSystem, you name it, I tried it. I even went as far as to spend loads of money on “pre-packaged meals” and diet delivery plans, but nothing worked. It was not only the fact that I didn’t lose any weight, but also that all of the diets were too restrictive for me and I knew that all I would be eating was boring foods like that for the rest of my life.

What happened was; I would follow a diet for a few weeks, successfully lose a little weight, then get bored of the restrictions and return to my normal diet and regain my weight. Just as many people have experienced with different diet plans; I was getting nowhere.

I realized that I was bored with dieting and that I did not want to return back to them. It is not worth spending time on something that will only work for the short term. Therefore, this time I tried the natural approach.

This natural approach was the all natural detox diet cleanse plan. This plan involved eating a diet of natural fruits and vegetables and keeping away from fried foods. I thought that I had tried almost everything before I discovered this. Therefore, I thought “why not give it a shot” and see if it works or not.

So, for the next two weeks my diet consisted of raw fruits and vegetables. And let me tell you, for a person who is used to eating fried and junk food, eating raw products for days on end was a real struggle. However, I knew in my heart of hearts that I had to lose weight and become slim to enable me to fit into my favorite jeans and trousers as well as live a healthy lifestyle. I must state quite openly that if anyone ever tells you that you cannot lose more than two pounds a week, must not have ever come across the detox diet cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in just two weeks with this all-natural method.

I continued to survive on a moderate version of the detox diet for the following month and lost another ten pounds. The great thing about this diet is that the weight never came back when I returned to eating my normal diet.

Another benefit to this diet is that you do not feel deprived and hungry in the least. I am now always full and satisfied and very rarely feel the urge to eat junk foods. But the best thing of all is that I can now fit into my favorite clothes again.
